This years juror was Victoria Altepeter, a metalsmith, recent Resident Artist at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and current educator at Northern Arizona University.

Anodizing Workshop

A few weeks ago, ASU Metals had Bill Seeley from Reactive Metals Studio come to give us an anodizing demo.  Seeley walked us through various techniques of anodizing  niobium and titanium, and we got to see some of his own work as well!


Here Seeley is, showing us how to paint color on metal with a sponge.



As a side note, now here at ASU we have our own anodizing equipment!
